HIA Launches Buddy Up Program for New Hires
This past year, HIA implemented “Buddy Up,” a program designed to help the new hire have a smooth transition into their new HIA roles with the assistance of a “buddy.” What is a Buddy? The Buddy is simply a peer who can guide the new hire in order to make them feel more comfortable. We are very proud of this program and have many success stories that we would like to share. Hamilton. If you haven’t seen it, you’ve heard of it. The Broadway mega-hit has been the toughest ticket on Broadway since its debut in 2015. For the uninitiated, Hamilton explores the life and triumphs of the previously obscure “ten-dollar founding father,” Alexander Hamilton, through rap, hip-hop, and musical theatre.
HIA Celebrates 25th Anniversary
In five short years, Betsy’s vision has indeed become reality. The company has already expanded by 80%. In March, HIA commemorated their 25th anniversary with a record 108 employees at the Salamander Resort, a 340-acre property nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains amid Virginia’s famed horse and wine country.
HIA Celebrates its 20th Anniversary in Amelia Island
For the celebration, Bailey treated her entire staff (and their guests) to a three-day anniversary event, aka “Family Reunion,” at the luxurious Ritz Carlton resort in Amelia Island, Florida.
